Position Overview
The Principal Consultant, Artificial Intelligence (AI) position is focused on pre-sales, business development, and service delivery activities that are expected to result in revenue growth outcomes with existing and prospective clients. The geographic scope is global with an emphasis on building out a portfolio of advisory related AI offerings.
Job Responsibilities
Understand AI use cases and business needs to develop solutions that leverage AI to improve operational efficiency, both internally and externally for Epiq's clients.
Lead conversations with prospects and clients to discuss legal, compliance and IT challenges and opportunities related to implementing AI in a corporate or law firm environment.
Identify potential roadblocks and possible mitigation steps to implement AI
Provide advisory services related to improving an enterprise's experience in utilizing the AI capabilities of M365 Purview and leading AI tools, including Copilot, Azure AI, and ChatGPT.
Demonstrate thought leadership internally within the practice and externally to various geographies where Epiq markets its services. This is accomplished through written articles, blog postings, CLE training events, panelist appointments at industry conferences, interviews by industry publications, podcasts, and other demonstrable means of establishing subject matter credibility.
Understand MS Purview AI capabilities, including adaptive protection, AI powered data classification, and machine learning based trainable classifiers.
Stay up to date on the latest AI trends and technologies.
Shape and refine the messaging delivered to clients for Epiq's AI offerings.
Advise clients on the value and efficiency of Epiq's Information Governance service offerings as they relate to challenges and opportunities with AI.
Collaborating with Epiq and Microsoft Sales teams to address AI use cases, compliance and regulatory issues and define success criteria for M365 and Microsoft AI solutions.
Support various sales motions, including creating SOWs, RFI and RFP responses and develop customer roadmaps as part of pre-sales engagements.
Helping Epiq prospects and clients by overseeing demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions, and proof of concept [POC] sessions) of AI tools services, and integration through initial engagements. Leverage Epiq and customer teams as needed to prove capabilities and integration into customer environment.
Provide direction and solution design for internal and external service delivery resources to execute.
Building out demo labs, training material, and delivering training to sales teams.
Contribute to strategic business initiatives within the information governance practice.
Contribute to product assessments for emerging technology platforms and new service offerings.
Provide active project support including coverage for peers.
Support internal training and talent development initiatives.
Perform administrative tasks that support the practice's objectives, as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Characteristics
10+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience in the legal and compliance space.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience in a client-facing consulting role; Professional certifications are preferred in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Extensive experience in preparing and delivering presentations to high level decision makers.
Independent direction for daily tasks.
Collaborative mindset and service orientation.
Domestic U.S. and international travel are variable and up to 25% annually.
