This is a leadership position in State Street Global Technology Services seeking a technology leader with 15+ years of experience who has core Banking domain experience. The candidate is someone with a proven record of driving development, mentoring geographically diverse teams, who is a hands on contributor in the analysis, design, development and execution of the project. The candidate must have demonstrated success in delivering business solutions in a public and hybrid cloud environment. The candidate will work directly with senior business, IT leaders and clients and must be able to work with minimal management guidance. The candidate must be creative and self-motivated to deliver on mission critical projects with tight timelines and competing priorities.

What you will be responsible for

As Banking Lead you will

• Set Strategic Vision and Roadmap for a Payment & Banking modernization initiative.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and evaluate their potential impact on the platform
• Drive solutioning and execution for the initiative.
• Lead planning and design discussions with a diverse set of State Street and vendor teams.
• Responsible for driving design for key projects in a timely and cost effective manner
• Manage technology releases and ensure quality and resiliency are not compromised
• Drive issue management, root cause analysis and remediation
• Budget management for the technology delivery team
• Exhibit expertise in end-to-end architecture for SaaS and State Street application modules
• Manage vendor products and establish relationships with vendor partners.

• 10+ years' experience in managing teams
• Experience in financial industry working on financial/regulatory projects is a plus.
• Experience with designing & solutioning services, systems & data platforms is a must
• Experience in evaluating software estimating cost and delivery timelines and managing financials
• Experience leading agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes is required
• Work closely with the business & IT stake holders to manage delivery
• Ability to work with Geographically diverse teams
• Use coding standard, secured application development, documentation, release and configuration management and expertise in CI/CD.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 15+ years of experience in Information Technology focused on the Financial Industry
• Strong Ethics
• Demonstrated Team Player

Salary Range:
$150,000 - $232,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
