Third Party Management - Oversight Committee and Reporting Lead (Finance)

Major Duties :
• Perform reporting to TPMO Management and other NT internal groups on the status, issues, and risks of the third party program.
• Collate all data points into slide templates used to present "state of the program" overviews to business unit leaders and executives, and subject matter experts.
• Gather data, metrics, SLA's and other data points used to generate routine monthly reporting decks; duty also extends to on-demand/non-cycle based reporting.
• Facilitate the committee meeting process - schedule committee meetings, confirm attendee availability, confirm quorum exists, call for votes and manage online voting tool, document meeting minutes and action items.
• Track, follow up, and monitor timely completion of action items generated in such meeting routines.
• Must be able to organize various information and notations used to create such presentations in a manner that would audit or regulators to recreate the presentation material and draw the same conclusions presented.
• Uses analytical thought to consider subject matter and exercise judgement to identify and propose innovative solutions.
• Impacts the achievement of operational, project and risk related service objectives.
Knowledge :
• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines; understands how own area integrates with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; explains difficult or sensitive information in a manner that aligns with audience; skilled at building consensus with stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to generate complex reports.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change in a high demand environment.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, as well as data analytic tools including PowerBI.
Experience :
• An undergraduate degree in a field that demonstrates ability to perform the Duties.
• 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, other highly regulated environment, or other relevant business/industry experience that show ability to perform the Duties.
• Experience collaborating with others and gathering data used to develop presentation decks to convey risks, KPI/SLA compliance, performance, etc for routine reporting committee reports and ad hoc requests
• Inquisitive and questioning mind-set used to perfect data, metrics and graphical representations of data
• Demonstrated hands-on experience working with internal constituents involved in risk, compliance, information security and other third party risk domains.
• Understanding of third party management systems, workflow systems, issues/incident management systems and/or similar systems requiring task based deliverables, statuses, and various approval workflows.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; experience building project teams and functioning as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Salary Range:
$95,600 - 162,400 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
