UC Health is hiring a full-time Training Assistant in the IS&T department.
The Assistant coordinates resource scheduling and associate registrations associated with courses provided by Epic Training. This includes the coordination of resources such as classrooms, trainers, students, and course materials. The assistant will be part of a dynamic education team that includes trainers, consultants and course developers, provide clerical support to team. This position requires energetic, enthusiastic, customer-oriented team player with good communication, organization and technical skills.
Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Degree: Associate degree - Business, Education or IT
1-2 years in a front desk or registration position
This position involves coordinating training schedules, validating classes, and demonstrating excellent telephone and clerical skills. The individual will effectively use the learning management system to analyze training needs and assign appropriate training to associates. They will create comprehensive reports, distribute schedules, and send confirmation notices as required.
The role also includes providing input into class scheduling and resource planning, communicating schedules to students, site coordinators, and department managers, and coordinating the use of computer training rooms. They will manage trainer schedules, outside training vendors, and handle cancellations or schedule changes, ensuring proper communication to all affected parties. Additionally, the position involves preparing and distributing course materials, documenting solutions to issues, and escalating problems when necessary.
In terms of clerical support, the position requires maintaining common areas for tasks such as copying, faxing, and mail distribution, as well as performing administrative duties like printing, filing, and distributing training reports. The individual will also support the department with additional tasks as needed.
For Epic training support, the individual will review security templates to ensure alignment with training completions, facilitate Epic test sessions for associates, remove training blocks, and assign required training for Epic access.
Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
