Lead (Construction)
Team Supervision:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Monitor attendance, performance, and conduct of team members, addressing any issues promptly.
Production Coordination:
Ensure production schedules and targets are met by coordinating team efforts and resources.
Monitor the production process, making adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of the production process and finished products.
Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues or non-conformances.
Safety Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety within the team, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for team members.
Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor or safety officer.
Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact between team members and management.
Communicate production goals, updates, and any changes to team members.
Provide regular feedback to team members on their performance and progress.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, production logs, and quality control reports.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the department supervisor or manager on team performance and production metrics.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Encourage team members to contribute ideas for improvement and innovation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or training in a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
Experience in the specific department (e.g., production, maintenance, logistics) is preferred.
