The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening for a Cryptocurrency Analyst in its Cybercrime and Identity Theft Bureau (CITB). CITB is committed to protecting the public by combating sophisticated cybercrime and identity theft schemes in Manhattan and worldwide. CITB prosecutes cases involving check and payment card fraud, network intrusions, theft of digital assets, online trafficking of child sexual abuse material, and cyber-stalking, as well as white-collar crimes involving money laundering and threats to financial institutions. In this position, the Analyst is primarily responsible for CITB's blockchain analysis assignments, and trains and assists other analysts in performing this type of analysis as well.
