Position Summary
The Manager of Products must follow all ethical, legal and safety guidelines established by Prairie Restorations Company's Policy and Procedure manuals. The Manager of Products is selected by and reports directly to the President. The main role is to be responsible for the production of the best ecologically appropriate seeds, plants and trees and shrubs available in our industry.
Primary Responsibilities
To oversee the production of all PRI products.To produce reports, budgets and metrics for evaluating success and outcomes of the products department as requested by the President.To be responsible for land rental agreements and any licenses or certificates the products department may need to operate.To determine and evaluate production costs.To become competent with Zoho functions.To envision and plan for the future growth and efficient operations of all production facilities, equipment and procedures.To assure driving responsibilities, including transport of equipment. This will require maintaining a MN DOT permit.To develop and implement systems for the production, sale and delivery of all PRI products.To oversee the general facilities and equipment maintenance and repair for the products division.To maintain a positive work place attitude and contribute to positive service team attitude.To be a key member of the Business Management Team.
Work Environment
This position regularly operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanner/printer/copier/fax, phones and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role however some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.

The nature of the position allows access to confidential financial, business development, marketing, and sales information besides personal and confidential information regarding the owners and employees. Company policy requires that all information of this type be regarded as Confidential and not for communication, discussion, or other distribution to any unauthorized person.
