Job Description Summary
The VP Treasury position is responsible for fostering new deposit relationships, maintaining relationships with external partners and vendors, and engaging in deposit strategies to enhance the organization's overall liquidity position. The role combines client-facing, new business development with back-office strategy and analysis.
What You'll Do
Source new deposit relationships and foster existing deposit relationships in alignment with overall funding objectives.
Develop strategy to refine and define product structures and benefits to enhance deposit offerings based on market research and customer needs.
Proactively communicate deposit opportunities with Treasury teams to ensure alignment in the forecasting processes.
Oversee Treasury Management onboarding teams to establish new accounts and maintain existing relationships.
Participate in contingency funding planning and related exercises. Pursue funding diversification to reduce concentration risk.
Help the EVP-Treasurer coordinate and comply with regulatory exams, internal audits, and model validations.
Attend various industry conferences to stay up to date on relevant topics along with developing meaningful vendor and industry relationships.
Requirements
7 - 12 years of work experience in Treasury/Banking.
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
Experience establishing Special Reserve Bank Accounts and various types of omnibus Customer Fund Accounts, and knowledge of the regulation surrounding them.
Ability to negotiate various depository agreements and deposit pricing with prospective and existing deposit relationships.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000-$132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
