Financial Wellness Specialist
DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Wellness Specialist to join our DCCU Cares Foundation Team. At DCCU, we go beyond transactions and truly want to help our members achieve financial success by aligning them with the right products and services to help make a difference in their lives. We are searching for individuals to join a team of dedicated Foundation professionals.
What You'll have the Opportunity to do:
Conduct Financial Education Workshops and seminars for a variety of age groups to help improve the financial health of the community.
Organize and coordinate the DCCU Cares Foundation Annual Scholarship Program.
Maintain and develop contacts with school, non-profit and community resource officials to inform, educate, and engage such groups to utilize DCCU as a presenter of financial education.
Research and make recommendations for new opportunities for community partnership through local events, non-profit organizations, and funded partners.
Maintain statistical information about all financial wellness programs.
Serve as the liaison for the VACUL Financial Wellbeing for All Committee and attend the annual VACUL Financial Wellbeing for All Committee Bootcamp.
Facilitate vendor partnership and provide suggestions for improving and optimizing use.
Become certified and maintain certification as a FiCep financial counselor.
Support the Foundation team with operational activity, special projects and events as needed including ensuring sufficient inventory of supplies and branded giveaways.
What You'll Bring to the Table
2 years practical or educational experience in education/training presentations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effectively work with a variety of groups – children; teenagers; adults; school personnel.
Operate PC including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to actively listen, analyze problems, and make decisions.
Able to work independently.
Ability to be flexible with time.
