Dietitian- Part Time (Finance)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist to join our team. In this part-time role (16 hours a week), you will provide personalized nutrition counseling and education to employees and their families. You will work closely with health care professionals to optimize overall health and well-being across a variety of health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments, offer nutrition counseling, and deliver personalized nutrition education.
- Support the Medical Center's mission by providing high-quality nutrition services.
- Support nutrition-focused wellness challenges as part of the Worthington Enterprises Wellness Program.
- Encourage healthier eating and provide resources via presentations and using platforms like Worthington Nutrition Teams community and the Company Intranet.
- Collaborate with AVI Vending to ensure healthier food options are available to employees through the national Go for Green Program.
- Serve as the Quit Specialist for tobacco cessation, supporting employees, spouses, and adult dependents. This requires certification through the American Lung Association.
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or equivalent.
- Member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition and wellness practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate and motivate others.
- Experience in nutrition counseling and creating wellness programs is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
