Program Manager (Project Management)
Position Duties:
1. Supervises the delivery of services that include intake, objective assessment, training development, job
search assistance, employment placement and career coaching.
2. Strong knowledge and experiences with federal and state employment and training program policy and
procedure. Administration of Workforce Opportunity and Innovation Act legislated program.
3. Maintain appropriate community liaisons and working relationships to support the programs objectives.
Experience working with the business community and assist with their recruiting need. Represents the
organization in the community and related activities/interests to enhance its role as an integral part of the
Oakland County service delivery system.
4. Develops and maintains projects procedures in accordance with the organization and sponsor policies
and procedures.
5. Assists with development and implementation of the operational budget and program services.
6. Assists program staff when necessary in performing duties including participant status review, quality
case record review and program evaluation.
7. Assures organization and contract obligations are fulfilled and documentation is completed accurately
and timely.
8. Assures for a safe and well-maintained facility.
9. Participates in the development of proposals and contracts for negotiations
10. Advices management of program trends and issues, which may impact the programs operations.
11. Assist with development and implementation of a comprehensive program evaluation and quality
assurance system to analyze and evaluate program quality and impact on persons served.
12. Perform other reasonable assignments as required.
