We are seeking a skilled and motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Technology Risk Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing the risks associated with user identities, access controls, and related security policies across the organization. This is a critical role for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating IAM risks, ensuring that the organization maintains a strong security posture while supporting business operations. In this role, you will be acting as a trusted and influential liaison as part of our Cyber Risk team to State Street's Global Cyber Security (GCS) business and First Line of Defense (FLoD) control function to ensure IAM practices align with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and best practices. The position is based in the Boston area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Risk Identification & Assessment: Conduct assessments of IAM processes, tools, and systems to identify risks related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) and evaluate the potential impact of identified risks on business operations and data security.
• Policy & Framework Development: Assist in the development and implementation of IAM policies, procedures, and controls that mitigate identified risks. Ensure IAM practices are aligned with organizational security frameworks, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• IAM Risk Monitoring: Monitor IAM activities across the organization to detect and report any potential security incidents, policy violations, or areas of non-compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Risk Reporting & Escalation: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders on IAM risks and remediation efforts.

Job Qualification

• Foundational understanding of risk management tools (Material Risk Identification, Risk and Control Self Assessments, Key Risk Indicator Methodology)
• Good understanding of IT, Cyber Security and Identity Management products, services and technologies, as well as their respective impact on the organization's risk profile.
• Ability to translate technical issues into risk terms that businesses can understand
• Understanding and knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, processes and emerging technologies for IAM as well as cloud converged infrastructure, etc.

Other Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the financial, consulting or technology industries
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are preferred.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in technology preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $142,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
