Paralegal Associate (Legal)
Conduct legal research.
Draft documents ensuring proper formatting, style, and captions.
Assist in preparing case documents, and research.
Experience with calendaring, drafting letters, and follow-up on pending legal items.
Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Engage with Business Advisor in case planning and recommendations on how to proceed.
Ability to produce correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Maintain legal files, and other information in connection with the work in an organized manner that is easily retrievable.
Able to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy.
Prepare chronologies and timeline of events.
Assisting with workplace investigations including scheduling and summarizing witness interviews.
Analyze legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law to identify relevant information and summarize findings.
Conduct thorough and accurate legal research using various databases and resources.
Legal Document Administrator
Familiarity with a variety of real estate and corporate general legal concepts, practices, and procedures.
Will assist the Business Advisor in drafting, editing, storing, processing, faxing, mailing, and electronically sending correspondence, and other legal documents.
Ensures all legal or corporate documents are prepared, proofread, copies, and filed/served in accordance with legal requirements and deadlines.
Managing legal documents.
Be able to file Real-Estate documents, research documents, analysis of legal documents, analysis of contracts.
Ability to know which City, County, State, or Federal municipal entity is required to process or apply for licenses, recording of company documents, or any legal requirements.
Keep organized and detailed files for all projects and update frequently in both paper and electronic documents.
Ability to consistently deliver the highest quality of work under pressure and deadlines.

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment and requires:
Sitting for prolonged periods of time using a computer keyboard, mouse, and screen.
Standing and walking may require twisting, reaching, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Grasping, pushing, pulling, dragging, and lifting boxes of files and other office items weighing 30 pounds or less.
Mobility, vision, hearing, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties to be performed.

Required education and experience
3 to 7 years Paralegal experience.
Paralegal Certificate, extensive educational background in California and Federal Law.
Bachelor's Degree or AA in Business Administration, Finance, Business Law, or Accounting.
Internet and tech savvy.
Must be able to type 55 to 75 wpm.
Advanced Computer & Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Adobe, Dropbox, and Excel skills required.
Preferred education and experience
Paralegal, Legal Secretary, Legal Analyst or Legal Case Manager.
Have experience in Real-Estate Law, or Title Company Background, trust and estate planning, corporate law, or employment law experience a plus.
Additional eligibility requirements
Valid California Driver's License.
Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
Pass a Background Screen and Check.
