About the Opportunity
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's People, Culture +Wellness Department has an immediate opening for a Risk and Compliance Senior to develop and execute a risk-based compliance strategy for Human Resources, Health Services and System Payroll. In this role, under minimal supervision, you will have responsibility for collaborating with business areas to understand their processes, risks, and controls; assess security controls and strategies; develop, test and analyze compliance reviews and audits; create risk and compliance related policies, procedures, guidelines and process documentation, including flow diagrams and process maps to meet business needs; proactively seek opportunities for continuous improvement of risk and quality assessments and compliance practices to drive efficiency; and monitor tasks are compliant with internal and external policies and procedures.
In addition, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business continuity plans to ensure business line readiness during unexpected and challenging situations. You will proactively prepare reports that support the needs of the Bank management, the District and the System; and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the fields of compliance, risk, and quality assurance.
You will possess the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the Richmond Bank and Federal Reserve System, as well as the ability to consult on and positively influence the identification and resolution of risks and opportunities. You will ensure that activities performed within the department and Bank are performed in compliance with Federal Reserve System and Bank policies and procedures.
