Sheet Metal Superintendent (Construction)
Project Supervision: Oversee and supervise all phases commercial roofing sheet metal projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work of multiple crews.
Team Leadership: Lead a crew of sheet metal professionals and laborers. Assign daily tasks, provide guidance, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Quality Control: Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations. Perform regular site inspections and resolve any issues as they arise.
Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular crew meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to address any delays or unforeseen issues.
Budget Oversight: Work closely with the project manager and estimator to monitor the project budget, ensuring that labor, materials, and other costs stay within the allocated limits.
Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site. Maintain positive client relationships and ensure satisfaction with the work performed.
Material Management: Coordinate the ordering, delivery, and storage of materials, ensuring that all required materials are available when needed for the job.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project progress, daily reports, employee hours, equipment use, safety meetings, and any incidents or issues on-site.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including engineering, estimators, and project managers, to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated and completed efficiently.
Other: Other duties assigned
