SANITATION TECHNICIAN (Manufacturing)

This is a full-time position that offers exceptional benefits, located in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
The Sanitation Technician performs repetitive work station operations in the Sanitation Department. This position is responsible for all activities in and around the building requiring cleaning and sanitizing.
- “The compensation range for this role is $17 to $19.50 per hour, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.”
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) with regards to sanitation
- Adheres to all company and regulatory product quality, sanitation, food safety, employee and environmental standards
- Safe performance of cleaning food equipment and food processing rooms per SOP requirements
- Routine Sanitation work including but not limited to area assessment, organization, cleaning, sanitizing and auditing
- Controls work orders, tool checklists, chemical control, Master Sanitation Schedule and other operation's related GMP's
- Writes work orders
- Assemble and disassemble assigned equipment in a safe manner
- Clean both warehouse equipment and the entire warehouse area
- Safely apply industrial foam cleaners and sanitizers
- Other duties as manager sees fit
Job Requirements
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds including above head and below the waist for 50% or more of shift.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
