MICROSTATION/CADD DRAFTER (Finance)

Role description:
Arcadis is currently searching for a Microstation / CADD Drafter, with 0 - 2 years' experience, to join our Water Business Line team in the Toledo, OH office.
The Microstation / CADD Drafter will, under the direction of the Project Designer or Project Manager, work on process-related projects, primarily focused on developing design drawings, support during project planning in the form of figures, setting up drawings according to specified CADD standards, working alongside project engineers during design development, and engaging appropriate QA/QC review. Projects may also include Civil/Site, Structural, and Environmental drafting for process piping, distribution/collection systems, pumping systems, stormwater systems, and other utility designs.
Role accountabilities:
As a Microstation/CADD Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the creation of preliminary and detailed design figures and drawings for Water Division projects. Your responsibilities will include developing conceptual site layouts, detailed design drawings, and as-built condition/record drawings, as well as assisting in conceptual cost opinions and other engineering-related, construction, or drafting tasks as assigned. Working collaboratively in team settings, you will establish and maintain strong relationships with other teams where client project work overlaps. Your duties will involve developing design drawings like plans, sections, and details, while collaborating closely with various engineering disciplines and office/project staff. You will need to manage multiple unique assignments simultaneously, showcasing your strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Additionally, ensuring project compliance with Arcadis' practices, quality, and safety standards will be paramount, along with facilitating coordination for the timely completion and submission of projects within budget. Other duties may be assigned to support the overall project objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications :
• Associate's degree in CAD Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year CAD experience using Microstation.
• Academic or Professional experience as Microstation Drafter preferably with engineering design and construction projects.
• Basic working knowledge of software required for maintaining the quality and consistency of CAD (i.e., designs, as-builts, symbology, connectivity, and annotation).
• Must be highly motivated with the ability to budget own time and work efficiently to achieve project goals both independently and as part of project teams.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year of professional work experience in similar role with a Consulting Engineering firm.
• Experience with Water Resources design and drawing production for architectural, structural, civil/site, stormwater, green infrastructure, and water/wastewater projects.
• Associates degree in CAD Technology or closely related field of study.
• Strong working proficiency with Bentley Microstation.
• Experience with both 2D & 3D drafting.
• Experience with 3D coordinate spaces, x'refing, levels, assessing constructability of design concepts.
• Experience with 2D
• Desirable to have someone with design delivery experience.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $37,200 - $66,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
