Direct and Supervise nursing assistants and support staff to ensure high-quality resident care, in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
Administer Medications and Treatments as prescribed, accurately documenting all administration and ensuring proper handling of narcotics.
Provide Direct Resident Care, including assisting with admissions, discharges, treatments (e.g., catheterization, wound care, tube feedings), and monitoring serious conditions.
Document and Chart resident care, physician orders, treatments, incidents, and changes in resident conditions according to facility policies.
Participate in Care Planning, including developing, reviewing, and updating resident care plans and discharge plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
Maintain Compliance with infection control, safety, and sanitation standards, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support Staff Development by participating in employee training, performance evaluations, and mentoring new hires and nursing assistants.
Participate in Facility Surveys and quality assurance programs, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and facility regulations.
