Position Summary
The Field Quality Manager, WBU will be responsible for ensuring the highest Quality distributor and retail standards of finished goods within the CBI Beer Network. Primary responsibilities include managing all aspects of Field Quality process within the CBBD WBU distribution network, including, oversight of all field actions and product recalls within the distributor and retail levels of the supply chain. This position will lead the Field Quality warehouse, distributor, and retail Quality program and play a key role in the execution of all CBBD retail Quality standards. The FQM will also manage and troubleshoot all draught Quality issues within the BU as well as train and develop all stakeholders on draught Quality. Additional responsibilities include development and execution of packaging and liquid Quality initiatives in conjunction with the brewery production and Quality teams. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director, U.S. Quality.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of all CBBD product quarantines, market withdrawals, and recalls at the distributor and retail levels. Coordination of this effort is critical in stopping defective product from making it to the consumer.
Lead the execution of CBBD's robust retail quality survey program on a continual basis within the WBU. This comprehensive retail audit focused on three areas: rotation, expired product, and package integrity. Continual emphasis on CBBD's product rotation standards to ensure the highest Quality experience of freshness that is expected of the high-end leader of the U.S. beer category.
Implement draught beer quality survey or sampling program for execution in the on-premise marketplace. Ensure the highest quality product is consistently dispensed in the trade, identify non-conformities, and troubleshoot with retail and distributor partners. Work in conjunction with brewery Quality and Sales partners for critical oversight of BU draught beer Quality initiatives.
Oversight and execution of Warehouse Service Provider (WSP) Quality Audit program for all WSP's within the business unit. Proactively work with warehouse leadership to identify deficiencies and implement corrective action preventative action (CAPA).
Standardize training programs for CBI field sales, distributor, and retail partners to help maximize execution in the retail marketplace and ensure the highest Quality product reaches the consumer every time. Act as the conduit connecting CBI corporate Quality to the distributor and retail levels of the business.
Establish continuous improvement communication with the brewery from areas of opportunity noted through the FQM survey process.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years' experience in the beverage alcohol business, specifically in Quality, Sales, of Customer Management positions
Beer sales and/or operations experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of people management and the ability to build a motivated, high performing team.
Knowledge of consumer goods packaging and draught beer dispense systems. Sensory analysis skills preferred.
Strong commitment to total customer satisfaction, and excellent customer relations building skills.
Solid understanding of product lifecycle issues that can affect beer and its packaging.
Proven track record of managing a survey program is highly preferred.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Able to identify and analyze problems, recommend, and implement flexible and creative solutions based on customers' needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective and enthusiastic public speaking.
Must have a strong team and service orientation and be able to work well with all levels of internal and external business associates.
Passion for and interest in beer and the brewing industry. Extensive knowledge of the three-tier system for beer distribution.
Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
Professional, positive, can-do attitude with the highest integrity energy level and work ethic.
Must be proficient working with and utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (or comparable software) to design reports and trainings. Must have ability to develop proficiency in manipulating additional computer software for data extraction and analysis.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be willing to travel domestically on a regular basis within designated territory up to 75%.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 30lbs.

Operations and ProductionThe salary range for this role is:
$95,900.00 - $146,900.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
