As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the DON, performing tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, assisting with personal hygiene, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations)
Administer medications as ordered by the physician, following proper protocols
Assist patients with personal hygiene needs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the RN immediately
Perform basic wound care and dressing changes as directed
Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
Collect specimens (urine, blood) as needed
Documentation:
Accurately document patient care activities in the medical record
Update patient charts with relevant information, including vital signs and medication administration
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
Report patient concerns and changes in condition to the RN promptly
Provide basic patient education regarding treatment plans and medications
Other Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain patient rooms and equipment
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited RN program
Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
