Position Summary:
Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, and evaluation of products. Involvement may begin at any step from Dev to full-scale manufacturing, with developing and deploying consumables manufacturing processes of both new and existing products within our production environments. Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications. Participate in consumable product development, manufacturing process development, process and product improvements, and other activities in the making of consumable products used in Illumina's sequencing and Array technology.

The estimated base salary range for the Senior Engineer - Process Development role based in the United States of America is: $88,200 - $132,400. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
