Material Handler (Biotech)

Key responsibilities:
Perform all routine tasks to convert planned orders into material plans, including the creation and management of planned material requirements.
Liaise strictly with Schedulers to ensure all material plans are up-to-date and responsive to changes in material requirements.
Build and maintain detailed material planning parameters in planning systems.
Collaborate with collaborators (Manager Supply Chain, Scheduler, and PM) to develop safety stock and inventory plans that meet production needs.
Expedite material availability through coordination with procurement and teams involved in inbound material processing.
Track, report, and facilitate timely material availability, including testing and release for production.
Develop and handle important metrics for material-related analysis to ensure a detailed understanding of material availability.
Complete key material mobilization or write actions to achieve efficient inventory management while minimizing scrap/waste.
Ensure the timely shipment of materials to customers.
Manage readiness of material commodities, ensuring they are prepared for campaign use without release testing.
Represent the supply chain at internal project meetings, ensuring raw materials campaign activities are managed efficiently.
Identify, develop, and successfully implement major raw materials breakthrough projects to improve efficiency and operational support.
Ensure master data accuracy within the ERP system and collaborate with QA on vendor qualification.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent experience in Supply Chain.
Proven background in material planning for GMP manufacturing.
Ability to influence Supply Chain and functional leaders to support inventory management and strategy recommendations.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
Proficient in analyzing data and identifying issues through root cause analysis.
Proficiency in using MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to apply Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports.
