Supervisor, Shipping and Receiving (Finance)
The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor's job responsibilities include:
• Correctly handle products in accordance with company process and procedure
• Issue parts in a timely fashion per Bill of Materials
• Control and communicate shortages to Inventory Control group
• Complete inventory cycle counts
• Ensure lot control of medical parts
• Maintain stockroom, equipment, and tooling in a neat and orderly fashion ensuring it's stored properly, in proper working condition, and issued as required
• Ensure paperwork is correct regarding counts in boxes, number of boxes, and weight of boxes
• Manage all shipping duties including filing completed paperwork and reporting data entry
• Provide work direction, setup projects, train, and manage personnel issues for reporting group
• Practice safe work behavior to avoid work injuries and illness while identifying, reporting, and correcting unsafe working conditions
• Perform other duties as required
Shipping and Receiving Supervisor Positon Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least one year's experience in a responsible position with knowledge of parts built, bill of material usage, inventory control, and leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of computer skills and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
• Knowledge of work orders, process sheets, receiving procedures, and shipping procedures in a manufacturing company
• Good problem-solving skills, and ability to make decisions
• Deals with people in a professional, patient, friendly, supportive, and encouraging manner
• Ability to review and provide necessary constructive feedback
• Able to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and be flexible
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
Compensation
Employee Type: Salaried
Salary Minimum: $60,000
Salary Maximum: $80,000
Incentive: No
