TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Sr Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Orlando!
Summary The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist performs various quality-related functions within the company's quality program, including auditing, supporting, testing, and documenting results to ensure compliance with company standards. This role is responsible for completing audits as per contract requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Ensure compliance with requirements and configuration documentation.
Perform end-to-end system integration verification (physical hardware devices, backend database applications, and web-based frontend user interfaces).
Test and document tolling systems in test, staging, and production environments.
Record testing data and analyze results.
Demonstrate testing procedures and results to Tolling Agency representatives.
Audit roadside toll transactions for accuracy before and after system integration.
Manage drivers on-site during testing activities.
Drive coordinated passes during testing activities.
Coordinate traffic at test, staging, and production environments.
Analyze and document defects; explain defects and their impact.
Create report summaries of installation status and/or configuration defects.
Document and generate reports of testing and auditing results using Microsoft Office.
Maintain and report on installation and/or configuration QA punch lists.
Confirm system readiness for testing activities, ensuring applications meet business requirements and systems goals, satisfy end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
Communicate QA progress, test results, and other relevant information to QA and Project Managers.
Maintain testing methods, equipment, and vehicles.
Support Testing, Deployment, and Maintenance Teams as needed.
Ability to multitask and be well-organized.
Willingness and ability to work varied schedules, including day, night, weekend, and holidays.
Requirements and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:
Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
High School diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
General IT support knowledge; basic computer and networking experience.
Experience with regression testing hardware and software for bugs.
Experience auditing transaction reports.
Experience overseeing testing procedures.
Ability to listen and execute verbal instructions.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
