Staff Accountant - Research (Finance)
Are you ready to support groundbreaking research that saves lives? Vitalant Research Institute is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant - Research to manage the financial processes that power our research efforts, with a special focus on contracts and grants accounting.
In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating all accounts payable and receivable related to research contracts and grants, working closely with the corporate finance department to ensure accurate reconciliation between project accounts and the General Ledger. Your expertise in managing the financial aspects of grants and contracts will ensure compliance and efficiency in our research initiatives. Additionally, you'll perform a variety of general accounting functions critical to the financial health of our research projects.

Relevant Bachelor's degree required.
Experience
One year accounting experience preferred.
