Position Overview
The Enterprise Command Center (ECC) Systems Administrator will be responsible for further developing and enhancing the use of monitoring applications which includes WAN/LAN, applications and server monitoring, reporting, and alerting.
What You'll Do
Focused Administration of SolarWinds and associated modules, or any other monitoring platform maintained by Wintrust
Identify monitoring and alerting gaps and/or optimizations
Develop, support, and manage alert definitions, reports, and dashboard views
Review and manage service requests submitted through Service Now for monitoring/alerting
Review all existing Runbooks every 6 months and meet with technical and business teams to review Runbooks and make recommendations and appropriate adjustments to existing Runbooks
Assist in developing other enterprise Monitoring solutions. AppDynamics, PagerDuty, Splunk ITSI
Keep up to date on current technologies, industry news, systems compliance requirements, standards, and industry trends
Create “how-to” documentation to be used by the Network Operations Center
Qualifications
Help desk or other support experience
Basic understanding of application settings and administration
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
