In this role, you will:
Working with the R&D project lead and Marketing team as well as Personal Care R&D, develop learning plans and execute them, as well as mentor other more junior scientists on the team
Lead the interaction with the Marketing team to ensure product design is meeting our concept and is on strategy
Champion the product design and learning plan for U by Kotex innovation programs
Champion claims substantiation and Benefits Visualization development to bring the innovation to life
Protect and defend K-C proprietary product and technology through the appropriate use of patents and trade secrets
Document key learnings and significant research findings in a searchable, retrievable format and coach junior team members in their documentation practices
Develop and leverage deep product expertise and leverage knowledge cross-functionally to field questions for LCM, DtV, competitive claims, etc
Make connections between projects and product learnings to solve complex complaint and manufacturing issues
Provide coaching and mentorship to more junior Product Developers on the team · Interface effectively with the other work stream teams to ensure business success
Ensure all work complies with corporate safety, regulatory, product safety and sustainability requirements

In one of our technical roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Broad experiences in product development
Experience in executing consumer or technical / scientific studies.
Proven track record of effectively communicating to and influencing leaders and team members across all levels of the R&D and cross-functional organization.
Ability to provide work direction to team members not in a direct reporting relationship
15-25% in-country travel
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science related field
Experience in product development and launch of consumer packaged goods (CPG)
Experience leading both consumer and technical research studies
Experience leading product design changes
Work experience across a range of Research & Engineering disciplines
Strong understanding of AFC products, brands, business, and technologies.
Strong mentorship skills

Salary Range: $106,000 - $131,000 USD

Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
Kimberly-Clark will support in-country relocation for the chosen candidate for the role. The benefits provided will be per the terms of Kimberly-Clark's applicable mobility policies. The benefits/policy provided will be decided at Kimberly-Clark's sole discretion.
