Banquet Server (Project Management)
Sets up banquet room as directed, ensuring correct place settings and the cleanliness of all flatware, glassware, and china
Greets guests and assists them in being seated
Provides cocktail and wine service
Serves banquet meal courses
Maintains banquet tables during meal service
Clears tables
After event, clean work areas in kitchen and banquet room
Resets banquet room as directed
Reports to event manager prior to departing shift
Performs other duties as assigned
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training
Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area
Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior food and beverage experience preferred
Previous customer service experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 10 pounds
