MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS :
Education :
A four-year Accounting degree or a four-year Business Administration Degree with concentration in Accounting. A current and active Certified Public Accountant license.
Work Experience :
A minimum of six years of related accounting or auditing experience.

initStaticMap(true); PRIMARY FUNCTION: \n \nTo maximize company profits and effectiveness, while maintaining the integrity of its financial representation through the development, supervision and administration of accounting areas. \n \nESSENTIAL DUTIES: \n \nManagement \n\nLeads a team of 4/5 non-supervisory professionals. \n\n\nResponsible for managing, training, and mentoring a team of accountants, ensuring their productivity while also fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. \n\n \nRisk Mitigation & Internal Control \n\nMonitors ledger accounts and reconciliations related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll & Fixed Assets. \n\n\nAdministers the corporate retention policy for the safe keeping of all accounting documents and support. \n\n\nMonitors employee compliance with accounting policies; specifically, expense reporting. \n\n \nCash Management and Banking \n\nOverseeing daily transactions and approving daily accounts payables and payroll-related disbursements from and between bank accounts. \n\n\nMaintains user security and access to banking portal and related modules for all of Finance. \n\n\nAssists in employee corporate credit card user maintenance. \n\n \nAccounting Operations & Processes \n\nDirects the accurate and timely accumulation and recording of all financial transactional data, including assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses. \n\n\nEstablishes and maintains processes and procedures which ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). \n\n\nDevelops and leads accounting initiatives that create operational efficiencies, improve communications and decision-making and strengthen financial reporting and controls. \n\n\nCollaborates extensively with Operations Managers to support their strategic business plans with financial systems, meaningful reporting and administrative processes. \n\n\nResponsible for lease and revenue recognition accounting standards. \n\nBudgeting \n\nCoordinates with operational Managers and prepares worksheets for annual budget. \n\n\nMaintains the methodology and tools to import budget data into the accounting system. \n\n\nResponsible for calculating allocation percentages and creation of allocations for budget. \n\n\nMaintains budget consolidation and summary reporting for management and CFO. \n\n \nForecasting \n\nMaintains the process for the Cash Forecast and oversees day to day. \n\n\nMaintains the process for the Financial Forecast and updates monthly. \n\n\nMaintains the process for the Inventory Forecast and oversees month to month. \n\n \nReporting \n\nResponsible for the monthly financial statement review typically split between Machine Sales, Rental, Parts & Service, Indirect Expenses and Other Income and expense. \n\n\nLeads Month-end and year-end close process, including allocation and other closing entries. \n\n\nPrepares internal accounting reports ensuring they accurately reflect the financial operation of the company and each division, store, department and cost center of the company and its parent and subsidiaries. \n\n\nPrepares eternal accounting reports for OEM providers and Banking partners, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Statement of Cash Flows. \n\n\nPrepares other regular Compliance reports for banking covenants or other reporting requirements. \n\n \nCompliance \n\nMaintains expertise in U.S. GAAP accounting and ensures that new accounting guidance is considered and implemented in a timely manner. \n\n \nOther Accounting functions \n\nAssists with monitoring compliance with company-wide accounting policies and procedures. \n\n\nAssists in year-end closing and audits. \n\n\nMentor and train members of the Finance department on various areas related to job functions.\n\n\nOther functions and tasks as assigned by management.\n\n \n \nMINIMUM REQUIRMENTS: \n \nEducation: \nA four-year Accounting degree or a four-year Business Administration Degree with concentration in Accounting. A current and active Certified Public Accountant license.\n \nWork Experience: \nA minimum of six years of related accounting or auditing experience. \n \nTechnology:\n\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite \nAdvanced Excel & basic Power BI \nUnderstanding of ERP Systems; Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus \n\n \nPhysical: \n\nAbility to sit for long periods of time. \nAbility to see (regularly or corrective) CRT and small print ledger information. \n\n \nOther: \n\nExcellent presentation and communications skills; Detail-oriented and organized.\nAbility to meet a constant stream of deadlines.\nProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\n \n \nThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
