Investment VP, Quantitative Investment Strategy (Finance)

Investment Management - InvestmentsThe Chief Investment Office (CIO) is responsible for portfolio construction and asset/liability management on behalf of Prudential's insurance businesses. The ALM Strategy and Analytics Team plays a crucial role in researching, developing, and implementing asset allocation and hedging strategies for effective ALM across several product lines.
We are seeking an Investment Vice President who will be a dedicated a resource to be integrally aligned with the businesses and their ALM and hedge strategy needs and assist with product development and strategist-like support from a modeling perspective.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
• Use ALM models to develop asset allocation and hedging strategies
• Develop key insight into liability characteristics across the major product lines
• Lead special projects that require quantitative expertise
• Collaborate closely with Investment Risk, Asset Management, Actuarial, Treasurers and Finance
What you'll need:
• 7-10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in financial engineering, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or other quantitative fields.
• Creative problem solver with an aptitude for complex technical work
• Prior experience with insurance liabilities and financial products
• Prior experience with regulatory/statutory capital analysis and optimization
• Experience with C#/Python is a plus
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $180,000 to $210,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
