POSITION SUMMARY
The unique value the Area Supervisor brings to Fading West is assisting your Area Manager with the day-to-day operations of your specific production area within the factory, including assisting with the oversite of employees assigned to your area.
Responsibilities
Station process flow checks on the POP app.
K-board assignments and accountability.
(Crane, scissor lifts, fall protection, etc.)
Weekly inventories.
Safety inspections. (Items that are looked at for daily audits.)
Holding area staff accountable for safety, production, etc.
A basic knowledge of time clock management.
General knowledge of all AM tasks.
Attend and be a part of the SQDIV & MBR Level 4 processes.
Knowledge of all tasks completed in your area.
Help with red tag items and material requests.
Monthly 6S audits
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Problem solving skills
Ability to follow and execute disciplinary actions when need
Basic construction and or manufacturing experience
Experience in managing others helpful but not required
Experience in LEAN practices helpful but not required
