ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST (Finance)
The Accounts Payable Specialist job duties include coding, posting, and reconciling vendor account information. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions to include:
• Manage, validate, and process invoices for goods and services.
• Confirm that requested A/P transactions comply with the company's policies and procedures.
• Schedule and process A/P batches flowing into the Microsoft Dynamics GP.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments.
• Coordinate and prepare vendor payment activities.
• Proactively update and source vendor account information: 1099's, addresses, etc.
• As needed, engaged with internal stakeholders to ensure all A/P workflows occur without disruption or unnecessary delay.
• Responsible at all times for reviewing, understanding and acknowledging in writing when requested, the company provided policies and procedures that directly support completing my required work duties.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain vendor files.
• Maintain a filing system for all financial documents.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial and employee files.

Minimum Job Qualifications
• High school diploma required, Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• 1-3 years accounts payable and general accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and general accounting principles.

Performance Standards
This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor to discuss actual performance as compared to company stated expectations and agreed upon job related performance goals for the upcoming year.
