Senior Operations Process Optimization Manager (Manufacturing)
Essential Job Functions
Work directly with business and operations leaders to develop and adopt a network asset management methodology and process standardization roadmap that aligns with internal, regulatory and customer objectives
Support the establishment and governance of standards that promote common terminology, ease of understanding, consistency in documentation and training, and successful implementation
Engage operations centers of excellence (COEs) and collaborate with operations leaders, functional partners, and original equipment manufacturers to create standard work including operating procedures, work instructions, job aids and other related learning tools
Design, implement and maintain a contemporary information platform that will serve as a central master document repository that is easily accessible to user groups
Design, launch and facilitate the delivery of a comprehensive employee and leadership training program to improve time to productivity and enhance the overall employee experience
Serve as an internal subject matter expert, change agent, influencer, consultant, facilitator, trainer, and mentor to promote the culture change needed to support/sustain process standardization and ongoing CI activities
Identify and socialize best practices with COEs and operating facilities to assist them in developing or expanding their local capabilities
Partner with CI to drive ongoing optimization of processes that enhance the customer experience, foster innovation, improve quality and efficiencies, maximize performance, enrich the employee experience, and prepare the organization for continued profitable growth
Provide project leadership and/or support for modernization and other strategic initiatives across the corrugated network supply chain
Maintain industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree or certification
Minimum of four years' corrugated industry experience, preferably in an operation, engineering, continuous/process improvement, quality, project management and/or training role
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of corrugated manufacturing processes, project management and process improvement principles, practices, and tools
Knowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to successfully resolve
Ability to design, implement and execute business processes and associated applications
Ability to maintain a high attention to detail while working with a sense of urgency
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead by influence
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment using collaborative tools
Ability to gather and interpret large amounts of data into concise communications and apply analytical thinking from data insights
Strong written, verbal, and persuasive communication and facilitation skills across all levels of stakeholders
Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning business systems and Microsoft Office software products, including Teams, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Word
