Facilities Assistant (Electrician) (Project Management)
The Facilities Assistant (Electrician) assists the electrical expert in carrying out electrical work for the Marina. Provides preventive maintenance to all phases related to electrical development and make necessary repairs in the electrical area as requested by the Facilities Manager. This role may also be referred to as Technician (Electrician).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide preventive maintenance to all electrical areas of the companyRepair and maintenance of transformersMaintenance of electrical pedestals in the dock area, as established in the department's work planMaintenance of the entire lighting system of the Marina, such as parking lot, dock area, Boatyard, offices, and rental roomsCooperate in maintaining inventory of the electrical equipment warehouseAvailability to work overtime in order to meet deadlinesTroubleshoot electrical issuesOther duties as assigned by Manager
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred2-5 years experience preferredAbility to ascend and descend a ladderAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to lift 50 poundsElectrical Technician Certification, preferredValid drivers license
