Consulting Intern, Sustainability (Internship) (Project Management)

ERM is seeking motivated Climate Change, Corporate Sustainability and Transaction Services Interns who are interested in supporting a wide variety of strategic ESG consulting services across our Climate, Sustainability and Transactions service lines. This is an excellent opportunity to support an expert consulting team and create client-centered solutions for an array of business challenges. Interns will have opportunities to participate in client-facing work, internal knowledge sharing and thought leadership projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Support project teams developing client deliverables such as sustainability reports, materiality assessments, GHG inventories, climate risk analysis and ESG diligence.
• Provide project support such as desktop research, data analysis, technical writing and quality assurance.
• Assist with the development of proposals, presentation materials and other collateral as appropriate.
• Perform tasks on multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables, under the direction of a line supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited university in science, engineering, business, sustainability, economics, or a related subject.
• Completion of at least 50% of degree requirements. 
• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus. 
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel if necessary, and work both independently and as part of a team. 
• Currently enrolled in a relevant master's degree program (e.g., MBA, MEng) at an accredited university a plus. 
• Relevant consulting experience a plus. 
• This internship is a temporary role expected to span approximately 3 months. 
• Preferred locations included Washington, DC; Manhattan, NY; Houston, TX; and Philadelphia, PA.
