The Front Desk Manager is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests/clients; managing the telephone systems; retrieving messages from voicemail and directing as needed; taking messages for staff; keeping reception area tidy; sorting and distributing post; and any other task(s) assigned. Creates reports in a timely fashion with attention to quality.Excellent verbal and written communication.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to multi-task.Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word in particular).Orders office and lab supplies.Acts as Safety Officer.Schedules New Hires Medical Clearance, fingerprinting appointment, and TB skin test reading.Communicates effectively with HR with any important information regarding new hires.Maintains a professional atmosphere both on the telephone and in the waiting area.Maintains a filing system for various company functions, including, but not limited to, copying and set-up.Assists with projects from other departments and acts as an assistant to Executive Director.Maintains the visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs.Performs all other tasks as assigned. Maintains understanding of patients rights per the Mental Health Code, upholds patients rights, reports abuse of patients rights immediately and assists patients with filing complaints, as needed.
