Driving a continuous improvement culture within the organization by prioritizing opportunities and execution of a Lean transformation strategy and metricsDriving plant cost savings initiativesEnsuring successful definition and execution of large, cross-functional improvement initiatives tied to annual strategic priorities.Providing guidance for projects and kaizen events; may host sessions as well events to improve productivity and accelerate growth.Challenging organizational leaders when necessary to create an action-based culture of continuous improvement and increased quality and Lean-oriented thinking throughout the organization.Working with the finance department to evaluate project savings estimates, validate reported continuous improvement benefits, and ensure accurate accounting of quality productivity.Staying up to date with developments in management and process optimizationExecute product quality strategies and implement process change that drives improvements across products, supporting and suppliers. Lead customer quality-focused improvement programs. Positively differentiate the companys current products and procedures by implementing new/enhanced quality practices throughout the company that result in customer satisfaction.Publish aligned quality metrics, measurement, and monitoring of quality system effectiveness to ensure quality goals are met. Consolidates, analyzes, and reports regional quality metrics on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement; lead review of quality metrics and use disciplined root cause and problem-solving methodologies to identify, implement and correct/prevent actions specific to the region as well as lessons learned within the business unit. Improve process control through improved process capability and error-proofing.Establish and develop strong working relationships with internal customers. and work with cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals for the region.Provide progress updates to executive leadership team and sponsors to communicate progress and provides general support/leadership to the organization on the use of Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement tools.Define appropriate KPIs (such as Cost of Poor Quality, etc.) to measure performance, identify improvement opportunities and projects, and drive execution to deliver improvement.Drive continuous manufacturing quality improvements through process, audits, standard work, statistical analyses, process improvements, tooling investments, and compliance.Publish aligned quality metrics, measurement, and monitoring of quality system effectiveness to ensure quality goals are met. Consolidates, analyzes, and reports regional quality metrics on a regular basis to identify areas for improvement; lead review of quality metrics and use disciplined root cause and problem-solving methodologies to identify, implement and correct/prevent actions specific to the region as well as lessons learned within the business unit.
