The Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst is responsible for functional requirements of Salesforce and the Configure, Price, Quote tool for USIS, including definition of business needs, business process and business requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for identifying areas of transformation and standardization to enable enterprise processes via Salesforce and enable business value. The Business Analyst must assess inputs and outputs from the pricing team, pricing optimization platform, and pricebooks to enable seamless transition for Sales as well as downstream teams/processing. The Business Analyst works cross-functionally and with multiple levels of the organization to ensure timely and quality design of end-to-end solutions. The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated, with a strong sense of urgency and solid understanding of the Salesforce platform and capabilities. What you'll do
Collaborate with multiple levels of the sales, pricing, finance and operations organizations to understand current marketing business issues and pain points
Identify opportunities to leverage the Salesforce platform to address pain points and drive business value
Partner with business stakeholders to understand current marketing business processes, identify gaps between current processes and enterprise processes, define solutions to address gaps, document user stories and business requirements and associated business value
Support prioritization of user stories across multiple business processes and stakeholders
Design and implement business solutions to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring quality, scalability and timely delivery
Create and maintain project deliverables to ensure business processes, use cases, business requirements, functional designs, test plans, etc are thoroughly and consistently documented using standard templates and centralized repository
Assist in designing the data and solution architecture to support business processes
Collaborate with Process Owner/Architect, Admins and IT partners on complex technical solutions
Document acceptance criteria and testing requirements for positive, negative and regression testing for user stories.
Support Functional QA Leader to execute testing activities for use cases, including defect resolution (tracking, triage, resolve, re-test)
Provide content for end user training design, documentation and delivery efforts
Provide end user and production support
Embrace the Equifax single instance strategy for Salesforce.com by supporting governance processes and designing business solutions within the governance model
Maintain an understanding of the Equifax Salesforce.com platform and functional components, including functional data model, integration between components and impacts of process and functional designs with upstream and downstream processes
Establish and maintain positive communication and professional relationships with internal/external customers, team members and vendors/partners
Stay current on Salesforce.com and Oracle CPQ functionality, best practices, releases, product roadmaps and 3rd party applications available via the AppExchange
Obtain/maintain basic Salesforce.com admin certification and seek additional certifications as Equifax solutions mature
Consistent with Equifax's 3/2+2 flexible work framework, a willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax's Atlanta-based office
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or Salesforce.com certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience within a professional services, sales or customer support operations role
