Delivery Driver (Transportation)

Auburn Ridge is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our products to various construction sites.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Timely and Safe Delivery:
Operate company vehicles to transport cabinets and millwork products to designated locations.Ensure timely and safe delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Loading and Unloading:
Safely load and unload cabinets and millwork products from delivery vehicles.Verify the accuracy of delivery contents against shipping manifests.

Route Optimization:
Plan delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions and project schedules.Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency.

Communication:
Maintain clear communication with theteam to provide updates on delivery status.Collaborate with on-site contacts to coordinate delivery logistics at construction sites.

Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on delivery vehicles.Report any issues or concerns related to vehicle performance promptly.

The successful candidate will possess:

Commercial Driving Experience:
Valid driver's licensewith a clean driving record.Proven experience in safely operating delivery vehicles.

Attention to Detail:
Careful verification of delivery contents to ensure accuracy.Diligence in adhering to safety protocols during the loading and unloading process.

Communication Skills:
Clear and effective communication with theteam and on-site contacts.Ability to handle on-the-road situations with professionalism.

Timeliness and Reliability:
Consistent on-time delivery performance.Reliability in meeting delivery schedules and deadlines.

Educational Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.Previous experience indriving or delivery is preferred.
