Certified Nursing Assistants (Healthcare)

Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to assist with our geriatric aged clients who resides in the Hyde Park area.

Available Shifts:
Evenings 5p-11p.
CNA needs to be flexible on which days

CNA Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities, including toileting, incontinence care, dressing, grooming, nail care, oral hygiene, and skin integrity maintenance.
- Monitoring vital signs, monitoring O2 tubing throughout your shift, facilitating daily exercises according to the client's care plan, performing range of motion exercises, and walking
- Preparing meals in accordance with the client's care plan, client also participate with Meals on Wheels and ensuring adequate fluid intake throughout the shift.
- Adhering to infection control protocols, wiping down counters, cabinets, doorknobs, and tables with antibacterial wipes.
- Administering medication reminders and assisting with the application of eye drops, ointments, creams, and ear drops.
- Conducting household support such as laundry, folding, putting away clothes, changing sheets, vacuuming, washing dishes, and dusting to maintain a safe and clean home environment for the client.
- Engaging with your client in fun, stimulating activities to create joyful moments.
- Engaging with your client in meaningful conversations
- Skilled in assisting with transfers, operating mechanical lifts, and providing catheter care.
- Proficient in dementia care
- Competently documenting shift activities digitally using a smartphone throughout your shift
- CNA would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
