The IT Markets team is tasked with managing essential applications utilized by SPP's System Operations team to monitor the bulk electric grid and wholesale power markets within SPP's territory. As a Programmer/Developer on this team, your role will involve enhancing the performance and efficiency of these applications and processes. You will also work closely with other IT experts to develop technical solutions for various issues. Responsibilities include supporting the real-time Market Operating System and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
Work Location:
This is a hybrid (2-3 days in office) position located in Little Rock, Arkansas, with the possibility of remote work being approved for senior-level applicants initially living outside of a 50-mile radius.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
