Coord - Asset Mgmt (Healthcare)
Total Safety is looking for an Asset Management Coordinator to join their safety conscious team! This position's main purpose is to provide necessary administrative and organizational efforts to support Asset Management initiatives.

Essential Duties:
Manages assigned EHS operations, policies, and procedures. Works with others to develop new and/or improved procedures, processes, and work standards for operational unit. Integrates new concepts, technologies and practices and aligns with future needs to meet objectives.
Provide administrative support for Capital Assets (AFE) process including, but not limited to logging and following up on AFE requests, assignment of AFE#, administer/update AFE log, assignment of barcode#.
Creates purchase requisitions or purchase orders to acquire approved assets.
Ensures AFE's are properly recorded in both subledger and general ledger.
Provide reports to accounting monthly on reinstated assets and AFE reporting to management as requested.
Manages Rentalman database as required including, but not limited to:
Asset additions/disposals including third party rental additions/disposals.
Asset reinstatements.
Manage titled assets.
Ensure all titled assets registrations are current.
Maintain files with titles and registrations for all titled assets.
Process sales of titled assets.
Ensure that all titled assets are properly recorded in Rentalman (including leased vehicles).
Assists others in the office as needed.
Skills and Experience:
At least two (2) years of general office experience. Some college and/or accounting experience preferred.
Must demonstrate basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook applications and demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
Must be highly computer literate and solid ability to learn other software applications, including Rentalman.
Detail-oriented with attention to accuracy. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
Working Environment:
Spends most of the time in an office environment. Occasional visit to shop area.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
